A Tribute to Tam Veilleux & Janet Hickox
Host: Grandpa Bill
Grandpa Bill Offers : Heartfelt, honors-driven, warm, and deeply grateful
"Before GB closes the airwaves today, I want to take a moment to step away from the charts, step back from the degrees, and speak directly from the heart.
As a student of astrology—and as a Piscean who constantly scans the horizon for meaning—I know firsthand that great maps are useless without wise guides to help us read them. Today, my deepest gratitude goes out to two remarkable teachers, mentors, and visionaries who consistently light the way for our community: Tam Veilleux and Janet Hickox.
To Tam Veilleux—creator and author of The Energy Almanac, and a dear, recurring friend of this show for over two years: Thank you. Thank you for taking what could easily feel like overwhelming celestial mechanics and weaving it into practical, grounded, daily human momentum. You give us an artistic, intuitive compass that turns cosmic weather into daily self-care and deliberate action.
And to Janet Hickox—whose brilliant Astro Design Survival Guide and luminous teachings give us such profound clarity: Thank you for your precision, your depth, and your unwavering ability to spot the systemic tapestry in the sky. When you point out the 29th degrees, the threshold moments, and the structural shifts, you don't just teach us astrology—you teach us how to navigate our own evolution with grace instead of fear.
Together, through your collaboration on The Energy Almanac and your individual gifts, you provide a sanctuary of insight. You remind us that we aren't victims of the sky, but active, conscious co-creators walking through every doorway together.
From GB here on the broadcast, and from this old Piscean ocean mind: Tam, Janet—thank you for your light, your wisdom, and your dedication to keeping the compass true.
Keep sharing your gifts, keep illuminating the path, and to everyone tuning in today—stay grounded, stay curious, and keep riding the wave."
