This week on SportsHub, we’re spotlighting the growing strength of Umatilla High School weightlifting with members of both the boys and girls teams.
We’re joined by head weightlifting coach Eric Samuels, who also serves as the head football coach, along with girls head coach Jessica Meier, and two student-athletes from the program.
The conversation goes beyond the weight room, focusing on the discipline, accountability and mental toughness required to compete, as well as the life lessons students gain through weightlifting.
