We’re resuming our study of the Minor Prophets and coming to one of the most well-known and perhaps most misunderstood of them all: Jonah. As we will see, Jonah is much more than a story about a prophet and a fish.It’s a powerful account that exposes the cringeworthy ways our hearts can resist God’s call to share his compassion with others. At the same time, it’s a story of God’s unrelenting grace, a grace that refuses to let us run away.
