Colossians 3:12-15
We will conclude our three-week series on forgiveness. As the holidays are quickly approaching, many will come face to face with friends and family members who have sinned against them or offended them. That relational tension can make for a very difficult time in the middle of what should be a festive family gathering. Forgiveness is the simple solution to that problem, but it is not at all an easy solution. Simple in concept, hard in execution. In this three-week sermon series, we will look at three different aspects of forgiveness taken from last year’s sermon on the parable of the unforgiving servant: releasing, repentance, and reconciliation. Each is an aspect of forgiveness, but each has its unique meaning and application.
This week we will look at RECONCILIATION and RESTITUTION and answer some of the most frequently asked questions about forgiveness.
