God has done great things in the past, but past victories do not remove our present responsibility.
In this message from Judges 1, Pastor Matt challenges the church with a simple truth: we’re not finished yet. Israel had experienced God’s power, inherited the land, and seen victory after victory, but there was still work left to do.
The assignment outlived Joshua. The obstacles did not cancel God’s command. What Israel chose to leave unfinished eventually became a limitation to the next generation.
This is a call to stop waiting for somebody else to step up and ask, “Lord, what have You placed in my hands?”
There are still people to reach, children to teach, families to strengthen, and a generation that needs to see faithful men and women follow God.
The job isn’t finished. The church still has a mission. Our obedience today will help shape what the next generation inherits tomorrow.
