In today's readings we see the dominant imagery of water - living water, the water of our baptism given freely so that we may have life and have it to the full. We all have thirst, but what do we thirst for? The readings invite us to come to Jesus Christ the well of salvation, the source of the water that will quench our thirst, our thirst for God.
