Hello Inky Thinkers and welcome to the fourteenth episode of the podcast
Today we are diving into the topic of autism within the world of tattooing. Both what it is like to want tattoos as someone on the spectrum, but also what it is like to be an artist who is themselves on the spectrum (which both my guest and I suspect many more are, than might know it themselves).
Of course I am as always not doing this on my own, and this time around I had the absolute pleasure of interview Paula Castle, a renowned and well liked British tattoo artist, who herself is on the Spectrum. Paula was so awesome on this episode, opening up about her own journey and experiences, both as a tattoo artist and woman in the industry, but also as someone who was (as far too many women are, because of a lack of research) diagnosed late with autism herself. Together we get into the topic at hand and much more in this episode, and it is quite the journey that I hope you will enjoy with us.
As always, there is love, laughter, deep discussion, and something to learn!
Please enjoy and share with your friends, family, pets, and anyone else into tattoos!
