Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9
When compared with the world’s path toward success, the gospel’s path toward success is upside down. This is especially true in 1 Corinthians 9, where the Apostle Paul teaches us that increased victory in Christ comes through increased surrendering of ourselves. Christian success happens through Christian surrender.

I surrender my rights to secure my witness (1-18).
I surrender my freedom to secure my service (19-23).
I surrender lesser comforts to secure a greater reward (24-27).
