Good morning and happy Sunday! Welcome to our September 29th, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Today Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham is preaching, and is joined by two great friends, Rev. Dr. Davidson Chifungo from Malawi and Kenny Logan from Belize, Davidson is the director of Y-Malawi, and Kenny works with The Word at Work. Both are wonderful mission partners on La Jolla Pres. Together, the three of them are sharing what it means to be, “Born Again” It’s the 3rd week of the Fall sermon series titled, “Stranger in a Strange Land - Finding Hope in 1st Peter”. Today sermon title is “Born Again” and we’re looking at 1 Peter chapter 1, verses 22 through chapter 2 verse 3. If you would like to connect with our church, you can find our website at LJPres.org. The Young Artists Concert is coming up October 13th at 4pm This year we will enjoy three fantastic musicians who are Musical Merit Foundation scholarship winners, This concert represents some of the best new talent in Southern California, and gives you an opportunity to hear these artist before they are selling out concert halls.
La Jollla Pres is offering a DivorceCare Class on Wednesdays, from 6:30-8pm in room LC1. The class is led by Life Coach and Divorce Recovery Mentor, India Kern, and offers help and guidance while going through divorce or separation.
