We want to help you discover unique Christmas gifts for your family and friends. Drop off your payments at the courtyard table on Sundays or at the front desk through Dec. 31st. Thanks so much for supporting our Mission Partners.
We have refugee families supported by our Mission Partners who have little means to celebrate Christmas. If you or your Growth Group would like to Adopt A Family for Christmas, or Fill A Bag with needed supplies (from cleaning to diapers to hygiene), please stop by the table in the courtyard this Sunday, or email Michelle Whitney at michellew@ljpres.org.
Rev. Scott Mitchell is offering a Blue Christmas Service on Friday, Nov. 30th, from 3-5pm in room LC1 and in the Chapel. The holidays can be a difficult time for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Recognizing this, we invite you to gather with us. We’ll start by connecting in a reception, and then follow that with a Blue Christmas service of remembrance in the Chapel. Please feel welcome to bring a family member or friend, and please RSVP with the number of people attending and the name of your loved one to Rev. Scott Mitchell at scottm@ljpres.org.
The Women’s Christmas Tea and Cookie Exchange will be Saturday, Dec. 1st, from 10 to 11:30am in Fellowship Hall. Join us for our Women’s Christmas Coffee, Tea, and Cookie Exchange! Contact Vicki Padula, vaggie@aol.com to volunteer or for more information.
We’re participating in the La Jolla Christmas Parade on Dec. 2nd and we’d love to have you march with us! Sunday Dec. 2nd, meet at 12:30 in Fellowship Hall; and then march from1:30-3pm in the parade. Along with 30 members of the LJPC Choir atop the double-decker bus, we invite everyone to celebrate the community by walking with us on the parade route. Balloons and LJPC T-shirts will be provided for all walkers. Please wear your best Santa hat.
