Today Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham is preaching, it’s the fourth week of the sermon series called Storyteller, a look at eight parables told by Jesus. Today we’re looking at the parable of counting the cost, as told in Luke chapter 14, verses 25- 35. If you would like to connect with our church, you can find our website at LJPres.org. We’re taking sign-ups for the Gleanings Mission Trip to Sultana, California October 6th through 11th. The trip helps pack dried food which is shipped all over the US and the world to feed hungry people. You can save your spot with a $10 deposit. the San Diego Street Choir Blessing Concert is Sunday, August 25th at 4pm, at First Presbyterian Church, located at 320 Date Street, SD 92101. The concert is called Home and Other Places, and it’s a fun and uplifting concert that will make your heart sing! Free Admission, and all proceeds from the freewill offering will be given to our Mission Partner, Ladle Fellowship! Again, the concert is August 25th at 4pm at 1st Pres downtown.
