Good morning and happy Independence Day weekend! Welcome to our June 30th, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Today Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham is preaching, and he’s sharing a message titled, “Finding Freedom” and it’s a look at Matthew chapter 10 verse 40 through chapter 11 verse 6. There’ another opportunity to hear the San Diego Street Choir in concert. On Sunday, July 14th, at 4pm in the Sanctuary, join us for Home is where Your Heart Sings, an inspirational mix of gospel, pop, and Broadway standards featuring the Fresno County Youth Choir and the San Diego Street Choir. This free concert is open to everyone.
This summer we’re organizing two community work days. Saturday, July 13th at La Jolla Elementary and Saturday, Aug. 3rd at Bird Rock Elementary. Join us for an opportunity to serve and help our local community as we landscape & paint campus areas that need it most. Sign-up at ljpres.events/summerworkdays.
Did you know that the LJPC Chapel is open for prayer Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11am-1pm. Drop by for an unled moment of peace in the middle of your hectic day.
