Good morning, and welcome to our June 23rd, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Today Rev. Scott Mitchell is preaching, and he’s sharing the first of a two part series on compassion. The message is titled, “God’s Compassion, Our Source” and it’s a look at Psalm 103. Sunday, June 30th, please join us for a combined patriotic worship service at 10:00 in the Sanctuary featuring our own La Jolla Brass followed by a wonderful Independence Day bar-b-que lunch with live music in the Fellowship Hall.
The bar-b-que team will be grilling all kinds of delicious food and treats plus all the fixings in the courtyard. Church is open to all, but you will need to purchase tickets for the BBQ lunch. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 & under, and free for kids under 5. Tickets will be on sale this Sunday in the courtyard, or online at ljpres.events.
