The Blood Drive is this Sunday, Sept. 25, from 8am to 1pm, in SunHouse. Give the “Gift of Life” by donating blood. Please register ahead of time with San Diego Blood Bank so there is sufficient staffing.
The Women’s Retreat will be October 28-30th at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The Retreat is filling up quickly, reserve your spot today! There will be tables in the Courtyard and Fellowship Hall this Sunday, or you can register online at ljpres.org. Arlene Pellicane will be speaking about, “Hope is in the House”. There will be an UrbanLife Family Workday on Saturday morning, Oct. 1, 9:30am-12:30pm. This is a family friendly volunteer opportunity at UrbanLife Farms, located at 210 S. There will be a called Congregational Meeting next Sunday, Oct. 2, after the first Service in the Sanctuary. The purpose of the meeting is to approve Rev. Scott Mitchell as Designated Associate Pastor of Congregational Care, approve Pastors Terms of Call, elect 5 Elders, 8 Deacons and 1 CNC member for the class of 2019.
