The annual Choir Christmas concert will be today, Sunday, December 10th at 4:00 and 7:00PM. Join the LJPC family for a joyful celebration of Christmas! LJPC’s choral ensembles and a professional orchestra create a moving retelling of the Christmas story through song and scripture. The concert will feature many carols including longtime LJPC favorite “The Many Moods of Christmas” as well as Vivaldi’s setting of Mary’s song. It’s a free concert with no tickets required!
Interfaith Shelter is coming up, and we are hosting individuals and families on a path to escape homelessness December 31st through January 13th. We need help with set-up, tear down, dinner providers, overnight hosts and children’s homework helpers. You can sign up or get more information by contacting Jon Mangerich. Family Movie Night is next week. Wednesday, December 13th from 4:30 to 7:30PM in Fellowship Hall. Pizza dinner starts at 4:30 and the movie, Polar Express, follows at 5:30PM. Be sure to pre-purchase your tickets online at ljpres.org/movie. The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family. Please bring a new pair of pajamas to donate to a foster child. As you may recall LJPC did a major renovation of our Sanctuary and Children’s Wing in 2015 and 16. Pledges were to be completed by the end of 2017. If you are not sure you have completed your pledge please contact the Business Office.
