Welcome to La Jolla Pres Online Worship, we're excited that you're joining us! Today is week three of our Lenten Sermon series called "Journey to Jerusalem", it's based on the Gospel of Luke's account on Jesus's final journey toward Jerusalem.
Today we're looking at Luke 15:11-32, often called the parable of The Prodigal Son or The Lost Son. Jesus tells this story about a younger brother who asks for his share of the family inheritance, and then squanders it away.
