We will be hosting an all Church Dinner & Movie Friday, June 16th. There will be a Pizza Dinner in Courtyard from 5:00-6:30pm, followed by the family friendly Disney film, Moana. Celebrate the first Friday out of school with dinner & a movie at LJPC! Bring your own blankets & lawn chairs to set up in Fellowship Hall. Kids are $5, adults are 10, and that includes both pizza and the movie. All ages are welcome! Pre-purchase your tickets from Erika Hill, at erikah@ljpres.org.
For over 100 years a big part of our story at La Jolla Presbyterian Church is Celebrating... and on Sunday, June 18th at 3:00pm that’s just what we’ll be doing with our 2017 Greatest Hits Concert! Our music ensembles work hard to prepare a piece of music and then often have only one opportunity to present it during the church year. Our Chancel Choir, LJ Brass, LJPC Orchestra, and Handbell Choir will select their favorite pieces. The result will be our “3rd Annual Greatest Hits Concert.” Please join us on June 18, at 3:00pm in the Sanctuary!
Today we are kicking off registration for the annual Women’s Retreat. The Retreat will be October 20th to 22nd at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. National Speaker and award winning author Cindi McMenamin will lead us as we “Rediscover”. To register, contact Erika Hill at erikah@ljpres.org.
