Today we're wrapping up the sermon series on Elijah and Elisha with week 7. Elijah and ElishaThey were prophets who were seeking to live out their faith in the midst of troubled times. In the midst of fear and uncertainty they called the people of Israel back to faith in the living God.
Today's Scripture passage is 2 Kings 8:1-6. As Elisha's servant is telling the king about the miraculous things that the prophet has done, in walks exhibit A, a woman whose son was raised from the dead. God's timing is awesome and sometime hilarious.
