In the rush of life, slowing down can feel impossible, yet Scripture reminds us that God often works most powerfully when we wait on Him. In Exodus 14:5–14, as the Israelites faced the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army behind them, Moses urged, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Pastor Paul will bring this week’s message, “Slow Down,” as we continue our FORMED series. God shapes us not only in our actions but also in our stillness, teaching us to trust and rely on His strength rather than our own. His formation is ongoing, leading us deeper into His presence and His purposes. Join us as we reflect on how slowing down opens us to God’s transforming work in our lives!

We want to connect with you! Email Pastor Chad at chadf@ljpres.org to get plugged in, or you can find our website at ljpres.org/connect. We hope to see lives transformed by a relationship with Jesus, and we strive to be a place where you experience and are able to express that transforming love of Christ.
It builds our faith to help give back a portion of what God has given us. If you would like to help further His work in La Jolla, San Diego and the world you can give online at LJPres.org/Donate.
