This week's announcements:
The first concert of the 2016-17 concert series is a “Young Artists Showcase”. The concert will be Sunday, October 23rd at 4:00 PM. See and hear three of the top scholarship award winners from this year’s Musical Merit Foundation competition! Their virtuoso performances will inspire you and warm your heart. Featured artists are Violinist, Annelle Gregory, Flutist Jonathan Sussman, and Vocalist Amanda Olea. As always, no admission charge, no parking charge, and a reception with the musicians following the concert. A free will offering will be received.
On Sunday, November 6th, there will be concurrent worship services in both the Sanctuary and in Fellowship Hall at 10:00am only. Right after church we will host our 3rd annual Harvest Festival on Draper Street and at the La Jolla Rec Center. There will be food trucks, pony rides, jumpy houses, games, and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. It's a great time to invite friends and neighbors.
Ladle Fellowship is October 30th. We helping serve a warm lunch to the downtown San Diego homeless population. It's a quick, fun and easy local mission trip. We'll meet in the church courtyard at 12:00 and caravan downtown.
