This week's announcements:
On December 24th, we will host four Christmas Eve Services at 5, 7,9, and 11pm. The 5:00 service is designed for families, with contemporary music, a shorter sermon, and lot’s of fun for the kids. The 7:00 and 9:00 services feature the Chancel Choir and special music, an uplifting message, and Silent Night by candlelight. The 11:00pm midnight service features communion, candels and carrols. We’re looking forward to seeing you, and celebrating Christmas together.
On Sunday, December 30th we’ll have one service at 10:00 in the Sanctuary, and then you’re invited to join us as we serve a warm meal to 250 individuals and families who are suffering from homelessness at 1st Pres. downtown.
We’ll also be hosting 12 to 15 homeless guests from Jan. 12-26 through Interfaith Shelter. We need help with overnight hosting, set up and break down at the end. Find lots more information at ljpres.org/interfaithshelter
