There many wonderful ways to get involved this Christmas season. Visit ljpres.org/advent and find a way to experience the joy of Christmas. Here are some highlights:
We have a daily Advent Devotional written by our own Rev. Stan Beard that will guide us through scripture on the weeks coming up toward Christmas. You can pick one up at church or online. The readings start November 27th
The Blue Christmas Service of Remembrance will be Dec. 2nd, from 3 to 4:30 in room LC-1 and the Chapel. This special service is for those who have lost a loved one.
The ladies Christmas Tea is Dec. 3rd. Ladies, come enjoy a Christmas tea & cookie exchange Dec. 3, at 10am in Fellowship Hall.
The La Jolla Christmas parade is coming up December 4th. We need cookies and cookie decorating supplies for our annual community outreach following the parade. If you are able to donate cookies or decorating supplies, please contact Alyssa Thomas at alyssat@ljpres.org.
