This Week's Announcements:
Today Rev. Scott Mitchell is preaching, it’s the seventh week of the sermon series called Storyteller, a look at eight parables told by Jesus. Today we’re looking at the parable of the workers in the vineyard, as found in Matthew chapter 20, verses 1 through 16 where the manager of a vineyard hires laborers throughout the day. La Jolla Pres is going green with Solar. We are excited to launch a solar project on the roof of the life center and children’s wing. The solar power project will be great for the environment, and also save the church $40,000 a year for many tears to come. Growth Groups will be starting up next month as we launch into a sermon series on 1st Peter. Growth Groups are a great way to get connected, find friendships, and grow spiritually. You can find some open groups on the website at ljpres.org/group.
