This week's announcements:
We are entering December running approximately $98,000 behind in our year to date budgeted giving and the month of December is always an important one for the church, as it accounts for 19% of our yearly giving or approximately $449,000. We are hopeful that we can make up the difference, and we pray that you will give generously to the operating budget of the church. The good news is, through November our actual expenses are also less than budgeted.

We have a daily Advent Devotional written by our own Rev. Stan Beard that will guide us through scripture on the weeks coming up toward Christmas. You can pick one up at church or on the website at ljpres.org/devotional. You can join the readings any time.
LJPC continues to be #1 with our Military Families! We are once again collecting new unwrapped toys for military families to give to their children. Toy distribution day is December 10th. Please bring new unwrapped toys for ages 0 to 12 to administration building toy barrel between now and December 10th. We really need to give our Military Families a Joyous Christmas!
The LJPC Christmas Concert is our biggest concert of the year! So big we have to present it twice! 4:00pm and 7:00pm on December 11th. We celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in this beautiful concert featuring the Chancel Choir, 3 Youth Choirs, the Handbell Choir, the La Jolla Brass, and the King’s Brass! As always, free admission, free parking, and a free reception with the musicians after the 7:00pm concert!
