Good morning and happy Sunday! Welcome to our October 27th, 2019 service from La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Dr Paul Cunningham is preaching a sermon titled, “Working on the Answer” it’s the 7th week of the Fall sermon series titled, “Stranger in a Strange Land - Finding Hope in 1st Peter”. Today we’re looking at 1 Peter chapter 3, verses 13-22. Peter reminds us that we should always be prepared to share the reasons for our faith. Next Sunday, November 3rd from 11:00am to 2:00pm is the annual Harvest Festival, out biggest outreach to the community all year. The event will take place on Draper Avenue and at the La Jolla Rec Center, there will be pony rides, a rock climbing wall, a petting zoo, face painting, bubble soccer a whole bunch of jumpies and slides. $10 unlimited activity wristbands areavailable at ljpres.events/harvest. There will also be half a dozen food trucks to purchase lunch and tasty treats. For more information, or to volunteer to help out, contact Erika Hill at erikah@ljpres.org. There will only be Worship Services at 8:45am and 10am that Sunday.
