Description

Special guest Rachel Snyder, chair of the local chapter of Moms for Liberty, joins Danny and Josh to talk about the origins and objectives of the nonpartisan organization. She discusses their focus on defending parental rights in public schools, and how involvement in local politics and school board meetings became ignited during the Covid pandemic. They delve into issues such as declining test scores, and the over-emphasis on social emotional learning to the detriment of traditional academic subjects. Rachel also gives a synopsis on the Biden administration’s redefinition of Title 9, why some local school districts are hiring the Independence Law Center, and specific recent developments at Penn Manor School District. She also describes some of the pushback against her and M4L, including a brazen misrepresentation of her views by a local pastor giving presentations on “Christian Nationalism”, shocking levels of vitriol towards her, and the Southern Poverty Law Center’s smear label.
