Often, we assume that persecution and suffering for Christ happen only in third-world countries or under dictatorial regimes. But do Christians in the Western world suffer for Christ? Do Gen Z Christians suffer for Christ? Do people living in developed countries face suffering for Christ? The answer is yes. They may not experience physical persecution like our brothers and sisters in oppressed nations, but every believer suffers in different ways for their faith in Christ.
If we never face any cost, opposition, or sacrifice for following Christ, it is worth examining whether we are living boldly and faithfully for Him.
