After spending much of the first couple episodes celebrating country music, we felt it was time to get back to our roots. We asked a simple question on our IG : “which rapper should we have on?” You guys answered.
Dozens of submissions, a couple good ideas, some impossible or inappropriate. But there was one, from our good friend Just Some Random Dude, that we simply couldn’t avoid. It said: “Najee Koncept, are you dumb?”
Now we don’t have the highest opinion of ourselves but we certainly aren’t DUMB, so we quickly scheduled the ep to prove once and for all that we are tapped in with the underground.
We weren’t quite ready for how talented Najee was. Making the trip from Lynchburg down to Klean Studios he brought the sauce with him. JSRD if you’re reading this, good call brother. Damn Good Call. This ep has it all: unreleased heat and some of that excellent couch chat we all know and love, with a few takes so hot your phone will shut down like you left it out on a hot day.
