I want to take you back to a time when people didn’t have gyms, peloton bikes, dumbbells, group classes or workout apps (OR pre/post workout drinks for that matter!). How did people stay fit in the “olden” days? We can look back to fitness in Biblical times and see that, even without all of these modern exercise advantages, they were able to stay fit. Their physical activity was naturally built into everyday life and not something they did separately like we do. They didn’t need to “go work out” because their lives were a workout. Ancient exercise was Functional exercise and we can gain a lot of perspective by considering how unconvoluted and accessible exercise can be.Listen to this week’s podcast for your weekly dose of God’s word and practical health advice.
