Trust that the divine power resides within you. Believe that you are worthy of this divine presence. Call upon the divine and pray sincerely for all that is good to come into your life. Just as a mother responds to her child’s call—even in the midst of her meal or during important tasks—so too does the Divine respond to the heartfelt prayer of a devotee, filled with love, melting devotion (urukkam), unwavering faith (nambikkai), and trust (viswasam).
Pray without fear. Ask not for worldly rewards, but for the grace to witness and realize the Divine presence within yourself. Pray for the Divine to work through you, and for opportunities that help you become deserving of that sacred force. Surrender completely.
Invoke the Divine Mother who resides in the Mooladhara (root chakra). Recognize Her presence both in the external world and within your own being. From Her dormant state in the root, let Her rise. When prayer is offered with true devotion and inner awareness, the Kundalini energy awakens and ascends through the Nadu Naadi (central energy channel). In response to the devotee’s call, the Mother energy (Aadhi Shakti) reveals Herself as the divine form one worships—be it Kamakshi, Vishnu, Shiva, Jesus, Buddha or any other.
Let us meditate deeply on this Aadhi Shakti, as described in the sacred text ‘Thirumandhiram’.
