• The saying “gambling is a tax on the poor” rings true, exploiting the most vulnerable
• Gambling thrives in a fracturing society, feeding on the despair of the hopeless
• Thankfully, accessible education and resources now help people grasp the true odds of gambling, fostering informed choices
