He has become a “stroke thriver” returning to rehab facilities to connect with therapists and stroke survivors. He often shows up to public events in superhero outfits as a way to motivate and inspire others. He has deleted the phrase “I can’t” from his lexicon and replaced it. John’s story is entitled, “How can I?”
