She served as a Caregiver for both her mother and husband, Kalvin at the same time while also trying to work fulltime as a Chicago Public School Administrator. Dr. Ivy shares her journey from overwhelm to prioritizing her own health so that she is more equipped to serve as caregiver and community member. Her talk is entitled, “Working Spouse, Caregiver.”
