When you notice yourself experiencing negative emotions, all it really takes is for you to stop - right where you are, whatever you’re in the middle of, and say, “I want to feel good!” That is the start of the pivot… that flips the coin! Then we continue to think about feeling good which attracts more and more of those thoughts and suddenly we are in a much more positive space.
