In today’s episode, we’re diving into part three of our series What Lies Beneath, with the topic: Miracles or Messiah?. As followers of Christ, it’s important to live intentionally—making deliberate choices to seek Jesus, not just for the miracles He performs, but for who He is as the Messiah, the Anointed One offering eternal life. We’ll reflect on John 6:67-69, where Simon Peter declares that only Jesus has the words of eternal life. Miracles are extraordinary signs, but they are meant to point us to a deeper purpose—our relationship with the Messiah. Are we pursuing Jesus Himself, or are we distracted by temporary blessings? Our faith must be vertical, growing upwards toward God, rather than being stunted by the horizontal distractions of this world. Today, let’s align our hearts with the truth that Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s promise, not just through what He does for us, but through who He is.
