Let's meet Rachel Story, a communication coach for travel and hospitality industry professionals, who lived around the globe. That’s right, she has been living like a true nomad for nearly 10 years, having visited more than 30 countries.
Rachel now helps hospitality leaders to improve their English language skills and their confidence, leading them to achieve better results with their businesses. For her, confidence, or the lack of, is the main challenge her students have to face and she says it leads to other issues such as miscommunication and misunderstanding generating a ripple effect in their business relationship.
Rachel Story hopes that with the advances of the technological business will be running more smoothly and guests will have an easier way to find the right place to stay. She hopes hoteliers will be looking more carefully and offering better ergonomic workspaces in their hotels, as we are more and more gathering work and pleasure into the same place.
