Description

Chronic Kidney Disease is a long-term illness in which the kidneys lose function over time. The kidneys are liable for filtering waste and excess fluids from the circulation, ultimately expelled in urine. CKD progresses in phases, from minor kidney impairment in the early stages to complete renal failure in the most severe stage. In today's Chronic Kidney Disease Podcast episode, we'll explore what CKD is, its causes, symptoms, and how it affects people's lives.
