The Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie provides a safe refuge and outreach services for abused women and their children including human trafficking victims. The emergency shelter offers a residential option for women and their children who are in immediate danger of abuse and violence. Women receive support and resources to apply for housing and financial supports. Our community based services offer family court support, group and individual counselling, transitional and housing support . All services are free and offered with strict confidentiality. The 24 hour crisis line is available 365 days and always available to offer support and advice.
