For religious communities following the Rule of St. Augustine, it is clearly stated that members should be “of one heart and one mind on the way to God.” While these words are lovely, in actuality, community life can pose challenges, especially when it is often our nature to think of what is best for ourselves. How do we truly celebrate each other’s gifts while also recognizing we too have something to offer?
