A Prayer For Staying Encouraged When Progress Is Slow
Loving God,
When progress feels slow, help us stay encouraged.
Give us patience for the journey before us.
Help us recognize the next step and when it is time to take it.
When we are tempted to give up because we have not yet arrived, remind us that progress usually comes step by step, one stage at a time.
Help us recognize the progress we are making even when we have not yet reached the destination.
Amen.
