Short Biography:
Sameera Moussa, an Egyptian nuclear physicist born in 1917, led a remarkable life marked by achieving academic excellence and pioneering contributions to science and society. Dr. Moussa, a trailblazer for women in STEM, earned her atomic radiation doctorate in 1948, becoming the first Egyptian woman to obtain a PhD in atomic science. Committed to the peaceful applications of nuclear energy, she envisioned making medical treatments accessible and affordable for all. 

We discuss her life, the qualities we possessed and the belief that her research would eventually lead to the worldwide development and use of the x-ray machine.
