Description

In Luke 5:1-11, we witness Peter, a fisherman by trade, going about his daily routine beside the Lake of Gennesaret. While the crowds gather around Jesus, Peter remains preoccupied with his nets, seemingly disinterested in the teachings of the Messiah.

But as Jesus commandeers Peter’s boat to teach from the water, Peter’s life takes an unexpected turn. Despite his initial reluctance, Peter obeys Jesus' command to cast his nets into the deep water, leading to an astonishing catch of fish.

In this sermon, we explore the power of obedience and faith as we follow Peter’s journey from skepticism to awe to the moment he declares to Jesus, "I will do as You say."

Join us as we discover how Peter’s story resonates with our own struggles, doubts, and ultimately, our surrender to the will of God.
