Milwaukee artists, students and military veterans come together through the Veteran Print Project to share experiences, preserve memories and build understanding through art.
Founded by Iraq War veteran Yvette Pino, the project pairs local veterans with artists and students from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design to create meaningful print-based works, including a piece honoring the history of the Milwaukee Soldiers Home.
