Description

Pain has a way of shrinking your world down to one thought: will this ever stop? We come at that question head-on with a simple, stubborn kind of faith. I’m Linda Budd, a pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I take the scriptures literally when they tell us to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. That conviction has pushed me to pursue what I call a healing anointing and to pray for people again and again, watching many experience real change.

You’ll hear a clear healing testimony from a Wednesday night service where the room was full of worship and the message focused on the strong love of God. A visiting couple from Arkansas steps forward. She has neck pain running through her shoulders, and after prayer she starts moving freely and smiling. He has meniscus-related knee pain that has spread up the entire right side of his body, and he’s stunned as the pain leaves. These are the kinds of moments that shape how we think about Christian healing, prayer for pain relief, and what it means to ask for restoration in the name of Jesus Christ.

We also talk plainly about the spiritual lens behind it all: I believe the devil authors pain and sickness, and God authors healing. If you’ve prayed before and felt discouraged, we end with a grounded next step: stand firm, read the Word of God, and keep declaring it over yourself as you keep trusting God for healing. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more people can find these testimonies and prayers.
