Description

She walked the aisle with a cane and told the whole room she would not be healed. That moment forces a question most people avoid: what happens when fear and unbelief argue back while someone is praying for you? Pastor Linda Budd from Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma shares her conviction that Scripture means what it says about laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, plus what she has learned from years of praying for healing and watching people get well.

We talk about what faith healing looks like in practice, including a bold prayer for pain, sickness, disease, and even restoration of what the body lacks. Linda also tells a challenging healing service testimony where the words coming out of someone’s mouth actively resist the possibility of change, and how that resistance can shape what a person is able to receive in the moment. It’s a candid look at Christian healing testimonies, spiritual fear, and the emotional weight that can sit underneath “I don’t think this will work.”

The central takeaway is simple but demanding: healing is tied to agreement with God’s Word. Linda points listeners toward reading healing scriptures, choosing a faith-filled confession, and learning to say “Yes, I believe” when doubt wants the last word. If you’re wrestling with unanswered prayer or looking for a clear, Scripture-based approach to prayer for healing, this conversation will give you a lot to think about. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review with your biggest question about healing and faith.
