A woman walks forward with a cane and announces she will not be healed. That moment sets the tone for a raw, unfiltered look at what happens when prayer meets resistance, and why fear and unbelief can feel louder than hope.
We talk with Linda Budd, pastor at Rivergate Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, about her commitment to taking scripture literally when it says to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. Linda shares how she has pursued a healing anointing for years, what she has witnessed while praying for people, and how she prays boldly for relief from pain, sickness, and disease, even asking God for what someone needs in their body in the name of Jesus.
The heart of the conversation is a healing service testimony where doubt becomes confrontational, turning a simple invitation to receive prayer into a spiritual and emotional clash. Linda explains her takeaway: if we want God to heal, we must come into agreement with God’s word by reading healing scriptures and choosing to say, “Yes, I believe.” If you care about Christian healing, faith-based prayer, and the practical realities of ministry, this is a challenging listen.
