Guest Bio: Elizabeth Doerr
Elizabeth Doerr is the founder and principal of Doerr & Co. Her company provides communications consulting and writes for social justice and social impact-focused organizations. Her approach is focused on purposeful strategy and storytelling that elevates a brand's platform by creating original content that positions them as thought leaders. She is also a writer and provides ghostwriting services having previously published a book with Lynn Peterson called Roadways for People: Rethinking Transportation Planning and Engineering and is currently working with a client on another ghostwriting project on racial justice in urban planning.
Elizabeth is also accomplished writer having published in The Progressive, Romper, Parents.com, Bloomberg CityLab, Scalawag Magazine, Portland Monthly, and Baltimore City Paper. She's currently working on a book – the proposal for which is out on submission – called Cramming for the Apocalypse which is about her journey to push through climate grief and take climate action through the lens of disaster preparedness.
