Description

Alison Furno and Debi Vandenboom are joined by special guest Denise Ceballos-Viner. Denise is the wife of a former police officer who retired as a Commander from the Phoenix PD last year.  In this slightly extended length episode, Denise, Alison, and Debi discuss several topics centered around law enforcement. They discuss the death of George Floyd and the effects that had on policing in America. They also talk about public views on law enforcement, especially in minority communities, and the positive effects police can have on neighborhoods.  Denise, Alison, and Debi discuss the political agendas behind pushing specific narratives that create anger, fear, and mistrust and also talk about how you can get involved at the local level to help change policies in your city in order to protect the public and support first responders.
