This week, Debi and Sam are joined by Kaden Matchett, youth director of Dream City Church.
Kaden, Debi and Sam discuss Gen Z, culture, and church. Gen Z has by far the highest rates of LGBTQ+ self-identification as well as high rates of depression and anxiety. However, there is also a resurgence of traditionalism among Gen Z. They are returning to God, seeking out traditional denominations over "woke" denominations, and focusing on marriage, family, homeschooling, homesteading and old school gender norms. Kaden talks about why he feels this is happening, what he sees in todays youth, including the common struggles
He also talks about getting married and having children at a young age as well as advice for young people looking to start their own families.
