Build tools to handle everything. We are responsible for our life. When it comes to children we often want to shield them. Protect them from challenging situation, maybe do their homework if they don't manage but it is doing more harm than good. They end up having a weak system, since they have received from well-meaning adults, the bread of shame, something they have not earned themselves.
Be aware of that and build them up by giving them tools to handle what comes their way. They will become resilient and strong. Good luck
